Our Story
Why MHCAI exists.
In 2020, Amit Kumar Soni stepped back from a career leading AI capability building inside some of the world's largest organisations and asked a question that had been bothering him for years: why is almost all AI training designed to be forgotten?
He had run programmes for thousands of people. He had watched companies spend significant budgets on AI education only to see adoption stall, resistance grow, and the human element of AI transformation get completely overlooked. The tools were being taught. The mindset was not.
Mindacks was founded to fix that. MHCAI — the Mindacks Human-Centred AI Institute — is the educational arm that puts the human back at the centre of every AI learning experience. It is grounded in neuroscience, built around real workflows, aligned with ISO 42001 governance standards, and designed to create lasting behaviour change — not just awareness.
Today, MHCAI is the world's first institute to hold both ISO 42001 (AI Management Systems) and ISO 21001 (Educational Organisations Management Systems) certification. It is not a credential we display. It is the standard we operate by.

Most AI training fails because it starts with tools. MHCAI starts with the mind. Our Mind First Method is grounded in neuroscience and adult learning theory — designed to create lasting behaviour change, not just awareness.
We build capability in three layers: mindset first (how people think about AI), then skills (how they apply it), then governance (how they do it responsibly). Only when all three are present does transformation actually stick.
Every MHCAI programme is scenario-based, role-specific, and assessed against real outcomes — not multiple-choice tests. You earn a credential by demonstrating capability, not by completing a course.

ISO 42001 is the international standard for AI Management Systems. It governs how organisations develop, deploy, and govern AI responsibly. MHCAI is certified to this standard — meaning our curriculum, governance processes, and risk management frameworks are independently audited.
ISO 21001 is the international standard for Educational Organisations Management Systems. It covers how we design learning experiences, measure outcomes, and continuously improve our programmes.
